Making complex
things simple.

I became a product designer in EdTech because I believe that equitable access to education has the power to create a more just and inclusive world. After many years in creative direction, branding and advertising, that felt like the right move. Throughout this time, my design philosophy stayed the same, and it can be best summarized by this quote:

“Perfection is achieved, not when there is nothing more to add, but when there is nothing left to take away.” (Antoine de Saint-Exupéry)

In my past lives, I worked on branding and digital experiences for Universal Studios, Nissan, Marriott, Singapore’s Tourism Board, The London Eye and Dubai Parks & Resorts. Those projects shaped my approach to design and taught me how to think about storytelling, and create experiences that make everyday interactions more enjoyable.

At the present time, AI is shaping the way we build products and how we think about product role boundaries. AI is pushing many of us to become generalist and curious about areas outside our core expertise and that is a good thing. As it becomes easier to create products, judgment matters as much as ever.
